While going to pick up Kian at daycare yesterday I walked past the kindergarten room. I think. I don't pay much attention to the other rooms, but they looked about 4 or 5 years old. There was three boys and a little girl in the corner of the room playing in the kitchen and "home" area. At first I was impressed there were so many boys in that play area, which is normally overtaken by the girls.
Just as I passed the door, I heard one little boy say: "Raise your hand if you want to be the mom". I heard a few "me's" and "I do's". Then. Then he said "Well, if you're the mom, you have to stay home and watch the kids then". I busted up laughing. Oh, if only it were that simple my little friend.
