He's found it

Karter. He's found it. His voice, his temper. He's just realized that he can use it and get our attention mighty quick. He's showing some little anger spats, which is, right now, quite funny. He dropped his apple he was chomping on and got mad and started yelling until I picked it up. He's been so laid back that I couldn't figure out what it was at first. No tears, just some yelling. Give him the apple and he's good to go. And another boy makes his mark...

Haha it is funny how all of a sudden they discovered that they know what they want and they want it right now! I mean, Elizabeth has always been that way about nursing, umm excuse me for 2 seconds while I switch sides and don't worry I won't even think about taking an additional 10 seconds to burp you! But this last week at dinner she kept dropping her toy and yelling until we gave it back. I tried to distract her by sticking a lemon slice in her mouth and when I tried to take it back she screamed and pounded her hand on the table over and over until I gave it back to her! The pounding her hand thing is a new expression of her frustration and is so funny to me at this stage. Although correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing they only get more demanding as they grow huh?
