A bug's life

After eating lunch Karter found a tiny beetle in the house.  He picked it up amd I hear him telling Kian "it's mom got run over by a car outside so I am going to take care of it."  They decided it's going to be their pet and put it in a plastic bowl with a strawberry.  They added a big craft button for an unknown reason. Then they tell me they're going to "make magic with this bug". No idea what that means!  Luckily they just decided it should be an outside pet.   It is yet to be determined if it was squished by the strawberry.
